Cooling Tower Anti-Scaling Chemical – Description & Specification
Cooling tower anti-scaling chemicals are specially formulated water treatment products designed to prevent and control scale deposits in cooling water circuits. Scale is mainly formed from calcium carbonate, calcium sulfate, barium sulfate, silica, and other mineral salts that precipitate when water is concentrated through evaporation.
The chemical works by threshold inhibition, crystal modification, and dispersion, keeping scale-forming salts in a non-adherent form and allowing them to be remove during blowdown.
